The name Al-Quds meaning “The Holy One” is another name for the city of Jerusalem, a city in the Middle East and one of the oldest cities in the world and is considered holy to the three major Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Israelis and Palestinians are the two disputing sides over this city, where Israel maintains its primary governmental institutions and Palestine ultimately foresees it as its seat of power.
