International Day of Quds: Symbol of Unity

Once the Zionists who were behind the scene of power in the European and North American countries through their domination over the scientific and media circles and could hide their real face from the world public opinion by resorting to the false claims of anti-Semitism in the world and continue the extermination of the generation of original owners of the land of Palestine. But today, thanks to electronic revolution they are no more able to hide themselves from the eyes of the wakeful people of the world, particularly the thinkers, intellectuals and political elites.  Today, in the light of the courageous struggles of the empty-handed people of Gaza, the real face of the Zionists ruling the fabricated Israeli state is not unknown to the peoples of the world from Middle East to Far East to the heart of Europe and Africa and other parts of the world.

Nevertheless due to the domination of the Zionists over the scientific and academic centers of the world, particularly in the West, still many aspects and intellectual foundations and principles, ideology and history of the international Zionism are not known to the people of the world. 

However, the most outstanding feature of the international Zionism is definitely the feeling of chosenness, extreme self-superiority and in one word apartheid (racism).

In order to neutralize the plots of International Zionism against the Muslims, Imam Khomeini called on all Muslims, following different Islamic schools of thought, to get united. He warned against discord among brothers: “Muslims should be wakeful, Muslims should be alert that if a dispute takes place among Sunni and Shia brothers, it is harmful to all of us, it is harmful to all Muslims. Those who want to sow discord are neither Sunni nor Shia, they are agents of the superpowers and work for them. Those who attempt to cause discord among our Sunni and Shia brothers are people who conspire for the enemies of Islam and want the enemies of Islam to triumph over Muslims.”

In a move to unite all Muslims of the world against the main enemy, Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Day of Quds. Hence, Muslims across the world organize demonstrations and rallies on this day to announce their unity against the Zionist regime. This year’s International Day of Quds bears a special significance because for the first time in the history of Israel, the Zionist regime was defeated in its invasion of South Lebanon and Gaza. During the 33-Day and 22-Day Wars the Palestinians and Lebanese proved that formidability of Israel is a mere myth. Hence, on the last Friday of the holy Month of Ramadan, Muslims across the world will once again get united to expose the real nature of the occupiers of Palestine.
